[birding] Lisa & Don's backpacking trip

Last Wednesday we got back from a backpacking trip in northern California.  We've posted some videos, audio and photos from our trip on this page:

We got to hear and see some unusual birds, like Common Poorwill and California Thrasher (a link to a list of bird species is on the page).  It was pretty exciting to see feral horses as well.  Unusual plants and reptiles were highlights of this trip, which was pretty far outside our usual close-to-home adventures.  We also had a nice visit with Lisa's family in Medford.
