Hi folks,

I'm forwarding this message on behalf of Ray Fiori with Oregon Wetlands
LLC. Some of you know Evergreen Mitigation Bank as the "Bellfountain Road
Wetlands." Birding attractions include nesting Wilson's Phalaropes and
Steaked Horned Larks. This should be a very interesting tour with lots on
native plants and restoration methods, both in wet prairie and riparian
woods. Hope to see some of you there! Please RSVP directly to Ray using
the e-mail address below.

Dear Midvalley Birders,

Oregon Wetlands LLC will be hosting a bird watching/restoration tour of
its Evergreen Mitigation Bank on Saturday May 30, 2009 from 6:30am to
~9:30am. The site is located southwest of Corvallis off of Bellfountain
Road.

The tour will consist of background information on the site and a
description of restoration activities, followed by a tour of the various
habitats throughout the site, with ample time to observe species
associated with each.

Please bring clean waterproof boots (no weeds please), appropriate
clothing for weather conditions, and your favorite binoculars.
Participation will be limited, so please RSVP to
oregonwetlands at hughes.net. More information to follow via e-mail for
participants.

Hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Ray Fiori
