[birding] red knots

Rich called at 1145 and said 2 WHIMBREL showed up as well.  Miserable weather. 1 WHIMBREL between road and tractor;  1 RED KNOT near tractor.
 
If anyone is heading out, I could use a ride.  I need to be back at HP by 3:00.  Try my cell if not at my desk.

doug robinson just called. he has 2 RED KNOTS on bruce road across from the scrape to right of 2 tractors. there are 100 other shorebirds out there as well.
