Hello,

5-4-09 Linn County, Riverside Drive

I heard a Yellow Warbler sing.

I saw the pair of Eurasian Collared-Doves near the Riverside School. They
seemed to courting. One flew along side of me and I got a good look. Their
wings whistle similar to Mourning Doves. Their flight pattern is
noticeably different. First of all, compared to Mourning Doves, they don't
fly as fast and they don't fold their wings and hold between flapping.

There's a roadside wildflower patch along an ash swale with a luxurious
collection of Large False Solomon Seal. I could smell the fragrance just
riding by.
