[birding] no loggerhead

1. nanette & i rushed out to the finley prairie overlook and from 930 to about 1120 we did not see the loggerhead shrike.
2. we did see NORTHERN SHRIKE a few times.
3. western meadowlarks are singing, robins are everywhere, harriers & red-tails were hunting.
4. there was 1 SNOW GOOSE across from hq.
5. so i think i will take the corvallis audubon group to finley tomorrow and do prairie overlook and probably down to bruce road.

  doug robinson just called - he had both LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE & NORTHERN SHRIKE  from the prairie overlook on finley road. he said the loggerhead was toward the southwest corner from the overlook. you will need a scope.
