Hi all-- I saw my first Turkey Vulture of the new year today (March 7), over
Eugene.

Also today:

The same field I mentioned before still often has 5-10 Bald Eagles in it, on
a carcass, but you may have to scan with binoculars to find them. Here's a
better description: the field is E of I-5, along highway 34, between 7-Mile
Lane and Goltra Road, on the south side of 34, exactly opposite the red barn
and big windmill that are on the north side of 34.

Bald Eagles are still plentiul at Peterson Butte (SW of Lebanon) when the
south winds blow.

I saw 2 Rough-legged hawks along Brownsville Road a few miles north of
Brownsville.
