Hi all,
Lucky me - saw the first Band-tailed pigeon in my yard this afternoon (March
4th).
I'm sure the rest of the crew will follow soon to raid all the bird feeders!
Also had a SS Hawk run a Varied Thrush into a window, and then retrieve it
(already dead) from the bushes - all this as I was watching close by. I hope
this isn't a new trend for the local Sharpies!
Still have some GC and WC Sparrows hanging around, and I still have
sightings of the YS Flicker, as well as other Flickers.
No Rufus yet.
Come on Spring!
