[birding] Re: Many Bald Eagles today

Hi all-- today (March 3) I spotted 5 Bald eagles on a sheep carcass in the
field I described yesterday-- they were much further from the highway this
time and I might have missed them if I hadn't scanned the field with
binocs-- the field is further east from I-5 than I thought, maybe about .75
to 1 mile (my odometer is broken!), going east along 34-- and it's really,
really bright green compared to the neighboring fields.  It would be a good
spot for some photos with a long lens.  Good birding to all.  Steve
