Today at 9:30 there were 29 White Pelicans on Cabell. One Wood Duck, one Canada Goose.
Along the boardwalk were abundant Swainson's Thrushes, Downey Woodpeckers feeding young at a cavity within 10 feet of the boardwalk, 3/4 way out on the west side, and singing Cassin's and Hutton's Vireos.
On the marsh and at McFadden Willow Flycatcher call is conspicuous, and at least 2 male and one female continue at the "scrape" under Pigeon Butte. Lazuli's common everywhere. Horned Larks across the road from the scrape.
