Hi all,

For the last couple of days (18-19 Jul) we've had a female/immature
ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD visiting our feeder near E.E. Wilson Wildlife Area.
We also had one visiting here last summer, after the more aggressive
Rufous Hummingbirds had mostly departed.

Although Anna's Hummingbirds are now fairly common in some neighborhoods
of Corvallis, they're still a rare treat for those of us who live well
outside the city limits.

YELLOW-BREASTED CHATS are still singing, but I haven't heard a Willow
Flycatcher in a while. This morning a SHARP-SHINNED HAWK was vocalizing
repeatedly while flying from perch to perch along the edge of the trees
north of our lot.

Happy birding,
Joel
