[birding] close encounter

Hello birders, yesterday on my walk to work at OSU I encountered a small flock of songbirds including three TOWNSEND'S WARBLERS practically at my feet in addition to the usual suspects. I pished softly to see if anything else would pop out of the shrubs, and one of the warblers buzzed my head! It was an engaging encounter on a cold morning!
