[birding] Common Goldeneyes

Hello all,

took advantage of the beautiful weather today and went for a stroll in Willamette Park. 

On the river, I found 1 male and 3 female COMMON GOLDENEYES, along with a male COMMON MERGANSER. 

Also had great looks at a male PILEATED WOODPECKER working on a tall cottonwood.

An adult BALD  EAGLE was circling over the river.

Great day to be out and about
