Hi folks,
Bill Tice mentioned that he drove along Airlie Rd. today and saw about
50 SWANS still in the field where they've been (just east of Berry Creek
Rd.). That's down from 90-100 in weeks past, so sounds like the
Trumpeters might be departing now. However, given that the flock was
mostly Trumpeters, there must still be a few there. Usually the Tundras
stick around longer than the Trumpeters.
Also I forgot to mention, among the Yellow-rumped Warblers at E.E.
Wilson today there was one male AUDUBON'S WARBLER in full breeding
plumage.
Happy birding,
Joel
