This morning (2/24) at 8:20 there was a flock of about 100 Cedar Waxwings at HP. They were mostly sitting in the tops of a couple of trees at the southeast corner of the ash grove that is located at the south end of Stewart Lake.  As I watched, they flew to the west-southwest in groups until all were gone.

I didn't have binoculars, but I did have my digital camera with 10x zoom.  I took about 10 shots of parts of the flock (some had already departed) and have scanned the pics looking for Bohemians, but have found none.  The view of their undertail coverts was superb as they sat above me, most facing the same direction into the wind. (There are at least 15 records of Bohemian Waxwing in Benton County, but most are pre-1988.)
