[birding] used scope

1. there is a 14 year-old budding birder in our area - tristen. it is always exciting to see a teenager very interested in birding.
2. he has posted to the listserve, goes on field trips, did 3 cbc's with me, and seemed disappointed he couldn't do the 4th cbc that i did.
3. he is not only an enthusiastic birder, but is becoming very competent.
4. he now has a pretty good pair of binoculars and is saving for a scope
5. so i thought i would check with all you birders out there and see if anyone has a used spotting scope for sale that he might be able to afford compared to a new scope.
