1. for those interested the solitaire was there today at about 10 am within 100 feet of the same place as we saw it yesterday - see below.
2. there was a BARRED OWL calling from the fitton green parking lot after dark this evening.
3. there were 3 GRAY JAYS at a house just before going down the last hill to the fitton green parking area.

1. nanette and i scouted today for the corvallis count in northwest corvallis.
2. best bird was a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE. it was near 7812 hope drive. go 53rd street to oak creek, head out toward corvallis audubon's hesthavn and hope drive is a little dead end street on the left.
3. we also had a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW at corner of grandview and oak creek.
