[birding] Re: CBC Count Week

Hello Birders,

     I hope everyone is planning to join in one or more Christmas Bird Counts.  They are fun and garner helpful information for those who keep an eye on what bird life is doing from year to year.

     Count week means that although the Corvallis count is on the 22nd, the three days before, and the three days after, we can include birds on our "count week" list.  If you are within 7 and 1/2 miles of the count circle center, you are inside the Corvallis count area. (Google map of count circle)  Our count week starts on Saturday the 19th, so start keeping track then.  Continue until next Friday for things we miss.
