[birding] corvallis area

mary gerard & i birded jackson frazier, hp, and wilamette park friday morning.
1. 3+ VIRGINIA RAIL and 3+ SORA at jackson frazier. also a BAND-TAILED PIGEON, many yellowthroats & marsh wrens
2. hp had lots of yellow-rumps (seemed like equal myrtle & audubons) and not much else
3. wilamette park had 5+ WILSON'S WARBLERS, 1 YELLOW WARBLER (maybe a 2nd), many ORANGE-CROWNED, many yellowthroats, & 1 BLACK-THROATED GRAY.
4. also VAUX SWIFTS were overhead
5. possibly most interesting was a single GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL at michaels (9th & garfield) on a lamp post.
6. i had my 1st BARN SWALLOW on thursday
