Hi folks,

Here's a report from Coffin Butte, from the Central Oregon birding group
who visited the coast yesterday. Sounds like things are happening up
there. The NASHVILLE WARBLER is probably the most notable though it's
always nice to hear about Chipping Sparrows -- hopefully they'll stay to
nest this year.

Happy birding,
Joel

Hi Joel - real brief as I am out the door to Portland for a conference.
On the way back from the coast yesterday we stopped off at coffin Butte
and saw a Chipping Sparrow ... I recall that they were unusual last
year? It was mid day so the birds were slow but a good variety of
warblers: Nashville, BT Gray warbler, OC and YR Warblers ... also what
looked like a Hammonds Fly ....
