Which did you see at Stewart Lake (HP), besides Orange-crowned & Y-r warblers?  Red-breasted Sapsucker?--we've been seeing one fairly regularly all winter.

We saw our first Tree Swallow at HP today... very late, something's not right with them here this year.  (They are typically the most prolific users of the 15 or so nest boxes around the lake.)

No Nashville Warblers on Friday.

First damselflies of the year; I'll post photos to Mid-Valley Nature later. No dragonflies. A few large-mouth bass and bluegills now visible.

mary gerard & i birded sunset park & starker park on country club in south corvallis and then mary's river place off 26th, and then ended at hp on circle
1. about 30 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS seen at every place
2. many COMMON YELLOWTHROATS
3. 2 CASSIN'S VIREOS
4. a few EVENING GROSBEAKS at starker
5. 1 RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER
6. many YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS (probably 3-1 ratio of audubon's to myrtle's) and most in nice alternate plumage
7. 1 CHIPPING SPARROW (probably 2) along mary's river
8. 10 CEDAR WAXWINGS at hp, but no nashville warbler
9. 1 HERMIT THRUSH at starker
10. still a few GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS, and quite a few WHITE-CROWNED
11. lots of swallows and usual suspects, and i am probably forgetting something as i was too busy to write it up till now.
