Hello,

4-19, Naturalist Adventure.
More than 20 people enjoyed the nice weather, birds and wildflowers at Bald Hill Park in Corvallis. It's been a busy weekend so this list will be short. We saw and heard a lot today and here are some highlights:a couple House Wrens, a Cassin's Vireo, Chipping Sparrows, Western Bluebirds, Black-throated Gray Warblers, many, feisty Rufous Hummingbirds and other common birds were active.

For a highlighted list of wildflowers, read it on our Mid-Valley Nature list:

The next Naturalist Adventure is May 17 and the destination is the South Prairie at Finley where will look at wildflowers and investigate Western Meadowlark habitat with Matt Blakely-Smith of the Institute of Applied Ecology. As always, meet us at the Avery Park Rose Garden parking area at 9am.
