Today was the first official day of my retirement from Rush Hour Photo.
After a few errands in the morning I decided to celebrate by going to
Finley, regardless of what the weather was like. It was another great day!
I was watching the more tame GBH that resides often on Finley Road east of
Muddy Creek. It caught something that at first I thought was a fish but.. a
crawdad instead?

then leaves with the catch-

There were many egrets in Madden Marsh- ten or so. The cinnamon teal must
have been mating as the males were chasing the female all the time I
watched. My day ended with watching four or five immature eagles and one
osprey circle the north end of Cabell Marsh. I grabbed the binoculars first
and by the time I had the camera they were gone.
