[birding] barred owls in Mac forest

A pair of barred 
owls were calling on Dimple saddle 2/26 around 3PM.  One gave a series of sharp 
barks in 2-stepped cadence that sounded like a douglas squirrel crossed with a 
yappy lap dog.  A quarter mile down road 600 a pileated woodpecker loudly 
forecast rain.
