[birding] Corvallis CBC results

Hello Everyone,

I birded with Ulo Kiigemagi, and Christine Young today in area 2 of the Corvallis CBC.
It was a beautiful day for birding.

We birded from the east side of the Willamette River along Hwy 34 north and south to Tangent Drive and 
all areas in between east to Hinck road.  There was flooding from the Calapoolia River along Tangent Drive from
Hinck to Country Road which closed the road.  The flooded field held 400 gulls mostly of Mew Gull, and the rest were Ringed-billed, and California.

At Tangent Sewage Pond there was a Redhead Duck with Canvasbacks, Am Wigeon, Lesser Scaup, Ringed-neck Duck, Ruddy 
Duck, Bufflehead, Green-winged Teal, Dunlin, and Northern Shoveler.

At the west end of Colorado Lake we view a Green Heron, Hooded Mergansers, Belted Kingfisher, and Common Merganser.

We found 68 species for the day.
