[birding] Pyrrhuloxia update

Hello all,

after my unsuccessful attempt yesterday, I returned to Peoria this morning with Sally Shaw from Corvallis. After an hour-long search I was finally able to catch a brief but diagnostic glimpse of the fabled Peorlxia as it hunkered down deep inside the dense blackberry thicket in "the hedge". Sadly, Sally did not really get a look at the bird, and we were unable to find it again.

Glad to have joined the ranks of Pyrrhuoxia-listers after my long stay in Germany .... when I first read about it, I didn't think I had a chance in hell to list this one.
