[birding] Non-CBC birds

Hi folks,

We ended up taking a cat into the vet today for an abscessed tooth and
infection. Some birds seen along the way:

- Peregrine Falcon winging over Lewisburg, being harassed by a kestrel.

- White-morph adult White-throated Sparrow spinking away from the little
pine right in front of Alpine Animal Hospital.

The scariest sight was a rear-wheel drive van with regular tires that
pulled out on Highland in front of me and was spinning out on the ice --
all the more so because their front right tire was almost completely
flat. I tried to flag them down since I carry a tire pump that runs off
the car battery, but it was to no avail. Last seen heading west on
Circle Blvd, alternately skidding to the left and right, but thankfully
not moving very fast due to the flat tire.

Hope Marcia and other denizens of Witham Hill are doing OK after
yesterdays water-tank flood!

Happy birding,
Joel
