nanette. paula, & i spent an hour on bruce road from 930-1030 this morning
1. no ferruginous hawk
2. 3 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS
3. probably close to 10 harriers and 10 red-tails and kestrals
4. at least 4 BALD EAGLES
5. 1 SNOW GOOSE in with all the cacklers
6. a good number of pipits
7. and 1 excellent nature moment - an adult bald eagle swept down over cheadle marsh and wounded a duck or goose, but dropped it. a coyote came out of the tree line and chased it into the water and caught it and carried it off. so a hungry eagle, a dead duck/goose, and a happy coyote.
8. a quick stop at philomath - all the usual suspects, nothing unusual.
