Today, Saturday, marks the beginning of count week for the Corvallis CBC.
So keep your eyes open for any good birds in the area!

 

There's still time to volunteer for the count.  I am also looking for feeder
counts - There's no CBC fee and you get to stay indoors during the frigid
weather and watch the birds flocking to your feeders!

Hi all,

I just got a call from Nanette Armstrong, who got a call from Doug Robinson,
who had a dark phase FERRUGINOUS HAWK at Finley NWR (just past the bridge
along Bruce Road) around 9 AM---??? Marsh (maybe Eagle Marsh?) . . . .bad
cell phone reception here at the house.
