I just talked to the owners of the property where the Palm Warbler has been hanging out. They own the pump house and the greenhouse and the large conifer that the warbler likes, and they own the little road that leads down over the bank. The road is posted "No Trespassing" because Rob and Becky have problems with people not respecting the limits of the park next door. They aren't birders, but they are OK with birders who want to walk down their road to look for the warbler. That road hooks around behind their house, though, and it would be impolite to take advantage of their generosity by camping out down there while waiting for a bird. (Rob told me that the other day he saw someone with a camera and long lens hiking through his backyard--probably someone looking for a pointy-headed bird.)
So far the warbler seems to have cooperated and stayed up near Main Street where it could be found without trespassing.
