1. i also walked e e wilson for 90 minutes - the 2 most northwest roads all the way to north end
    a. 5 LINCOLN'S SPARROWS
    b. 1 WHITE-THROATED SPARROW
    c. not a lot of golden-crowned, zero white-crowned
    d. tons of robins, but zero varied thrush
    e. maybe 5 RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS
    f. little flock of 15 BUSHTITS
    g. 2 singing WRENTITS
    h. 1 SHARP-SHINNED HAWK, and 5 red-tails
    i. 6 PURPLE FINCHES
    j. lots of juncos
    k. 1 GREAT EGRET
2. while it poured at e e wilson i drove robinson road out to this farm pond (polk county) that normally has some swans. it was packed with ducks - maybe even 1000. there were only 4 species. i did not count but certainly 200+ MALLARDS, 200+ GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 100 PINTAILS, 100 AM WIGEON. and there were 11 TUNDRA SWANS
3. on robinson road i had 3 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS (2 in polk + 1 in benton)
