Howdy local birders,

Went for a short bird walk Sunday (May 28th) between showers and sprinkles at HP pond. Best birds were 4 Cedar Waxwings, an Osprey
and a coot. Slim pickens compared to a few weeks back, but a few birds is better than none!

The usual yard birds: BC Chickadees, Mourning Doves, Juncos, a Downey Woodpecker, Stellar Jays, 1 Scrub Jay, Sparrows, and Towhees.
"My" pair of Rufous hummers are all about, and the pair of Pileated Woodpeckers are making a bunch of noise and continuing to make those rectangular drilled-out bark designs.
