Hi All,

I stopped at a number of places earlier today in an effort to find Solitary Sandpipers. Nothing earthshattering but I thought the shorebird totals were worth getting out there.

-Robison Rd Wetland (scope required)
Greater Yellowlegs 2
Lesser Yellowlegs 1
LB Dowitcher ~16
Least/Western Sandpiper 80 (heat waves were tough)
Blue-winged Teal 2

-Finley NWR (Bruce Rd)
Peregrine Falcon 1 ad (making shorebird watching very difficult)
Killdeer 2
LB Dowitcher 34
Western Sandpiper 5
Least Sandpiper 62
Dunlin 2
*Yellow-headed Blackbird 1 male, 2 females at the mitigation wetland
Yellow Warbler 2 singing on territory

-Monroe Sewage Ponds
Wood Duck 29
Spotted Sandpiper 3
Least Sandpiper 5
Solitary Sandpiper 00

Good Birding,
Joe
